From Corporate Burnout to Freedom: How one idea changed my life

Have you ever sat at your desk in corporate and thought, “Can this really be it”? That was me in the back of a taxi being asked to miss my son’s first birthday so I could be at work. I’d already watched his first steps on video and missed hearing his first word. On paper, I was “successful”: a Sales Director, leading teams, hitting £100million targets, travelling in luxury hotels. Inside, I was crumbling.

That was the day I swore to create freedom from corporate life. A life where I could be fully present for my family and still build a thriving business on my own terms. And it all started with one simple idea.

The Cost of Corporate

Corporate life looked secure and successful. But it cost me my peace of mind and precious family moments. The pay, bonuses, and job title didn’t make up for missing milestones and feeling like someone else was in control of my life.
